Toronto Otaku Meet up Feb. 20, 2010

Went to my first Otaku meet up yesterday and I have to say that it wasn’t what I expected yet it was still somewhat fun. Most of us met up at Indigo in Eaton Center around the Manga section, I thought I was late but apparently I wasn’t too too late yay ^^ Fran was there at 11:30am >.< sooo early we got there around 12:45ish.  Around 1pm we all headed to the Korean BBQ place to eat, then some other people started showing up. Some of the guys were playing on their DS and a few others were playing on their PSP, we ended up talking and eating till 4pm (WOW) Then we went to 2 anime stores to look around then grabbed a drink then went home. I was being good today and didn’t get anything XD although I did want to get the lucky star cosply miku kagami but I’ll wait. I guess what I was expecting was to see other people’s figures too since it was mentioned in the post to bring your figures and cameras, so I was a bit disappointed that I didn’t get to see much, just people playing on their DS or their PSP. I saw a few of Fran’s figures and saw 2 girls brought their nendoroirds with them, a Miku Hatune and Al Azif. Fran saw my set of vocaloid puchis and just loved them, I’m thinking of putting strips on puchi Miku’s pantsu like what Kodomut did on his. There was a total of probably 16-17 people that showed up and I remember a few but most of the others I really can’t remember since there was just such a large group of people, maybe next time I’ll know a few more. I would like to go to another one but I do want to see other’s figures…just have to wait and see =p
